To kick start the newspaper column series for the New Edinburgh News, the April edition will feature an article derived from an interview I participated in with the astute Peg Herbert over the phone a few weeks ago.
Peg is the Executive Director of Help Lesotho, a Canadian NGO with the headquarters located at her home in Ottawa. We discussed about many factors the organization faces and we also discussed about Lesotho, the country where the organization works in. One of the many goals highlighted in the article is to improve the lives a thousands of people devastated by HIV/AIDS in Lesotho, a country located in Sub-Saharan Africa.
I am off to New York City tomorrow and will report from there. Please stayed tune for the start of my blog on April 1 and hopefully, you might feel intrigued. To add, I hope to find a really good independant coffee shop in Manhattan to report about.
To add to my column, I plan to write about interesting events that have occurred and anything that will impress teenagers like me.
