The entire world is in a state of joyfulness and most people, I know at least, are unbelievably rejoiced with the news of a new radical and very liberal President to maybe solve the current global recession and the social problems that plague our world. For those reasons, I needed to write an article in the New Edinburgh News about the tremendous significance of Barack Obama winning the American Presidential election. Not only am I a Canadian in Buffalo, but I am also an adolescent in the country, which happens to be the world superpower in foreign affairs and is also the country that has just elected its first Black President!

This article was special to write and I hope to get back into writing more articles on issues involving Canada, the United States, and even places outside of North America.
I deeply respect Obama greatly. I feel glad that I am a teenager that can just truly worship him and even call him a hero perhaps. It is also a wonderful privilege to be living in the United States during what is hopefully going to be a radical shift for social change in this country, and possibly even for many parts of the world.
You're the man, Obama! I wish you luck.
